[Dxspider-support] CVS problem

[sysop at gb7wdx spider]$ cvs update -d
cvs update: cannot find password
cvs [update aborted]: use "cvs login" to log in first
[sysop at gb7wdx spider]$ cd ..
[sysop at gb7wdx sysop]$ cat .cvspass
/1 :pserver:anonymous at scm.tobit.co.uk:2401/scm/spider.git /A

[sysop at gb7wdx sysop]$ cvs -v

I cannot fathom why you might be different to anybody else. But add this 
line to your .cvspass, do a cvs update -d and see what happens.

Also do a 'cvs -v' and tell me what version number you are using.
